Former American Idol Finalist Adam Lambert Supports Equal Rights For All

It seems that two American Idol contestants named Lambert are making headlines just as Season 10 begins with a new panel of judges.

Alex Lambert who was a contestant in Season 9 made headlines with his tweets about being homeless.  Meanwhile, Adam Lambert, first runner up and very successful recording artist from Season 8 made news for attending Elton John's private benefit concert on January 19th.

Lambert who has won the adoration of many fans for his singing, has also been lauded for his outspoken promotion of equal rights for all people.   Elton John's benefit concert was staged to  raise awareness for the American Foundation for Equal Rights.

Adam Lambert wrote via Twitter: "www.afer.org Equal Rights for ALL" Many fans pay close attention to whatever cause the singer directs their attention to.

Adam  has made it a point to advertise that even though his birthday is just around the corner, he does not want gifts.  Instead, he has encouraged his fans to go to MyCharityWater.org and donate whatever amount of money  they can spare in order to help enable those who do not have access to clean water.  That is what he would consider a more valuable gift than actual presents for him.

Although some experts believed Adam's lifestyle and outspoken ways cost him the winner's spot on American Idol, his career has skyrocked since his season of American Idol ended, indicating that in the end it didn't matter than he came in second instead of first.

Adam is also an inspiration to many for his edgy hairstyles, unconventional fashions and make-up trends.  Many younger men view Adam as a current fashion inspiration.

Daily Hair Tip
In the past hair color for men was specifically designed to cover grey. For the 21st Century men want to use color for all sorts of reason, just like women do.
